Our head Golf Professional Nate Lubs joined the staff at Pebble Creek in March of 2006. Nate's collegiate experience was at the University of Northern Iowa where he was a member of the golf team for 4 years and served as Captain for 3 of those years. Nate is proud to have helped with the designing of Pebble Creek's Golf Shop coming on board as our new clubhouse was being built. Nate has been a PGA member since 2005 and came to Pebble Creek after 3 years of being an assistant Golf Pro at Crow Valley Golf Club in Davenport.Nate handles the day to day operation of Pebble Creeks golf shop and is in charge of tournaments, lessons, golf outings and special golf events at Pebble Creek. Nate has enjoyed the game of golf since he was 3 years old and loves to come to work each day doing something he loves. Alex Schenfeld our assistant golf professional joined the staff at Pebble Creek in March of 2007. Alex was an established collegiate player at Central College in Pella Iowa. Alex began his love of golf at age 4 and truly brings his passion for the sport with him to work each day. Alex's experience includes 3 years at Bos Landen Golf Resort in Pella, Iowa and 2 years at Echo Valley Country Club in Des Moines Iowa. Alex is currently in the process of finishing his PGA education and assists our Head Golf Professional Nate Labs in Pebble Creek's Golf Shop. Alex is available daily for lessons and along with the rest of the staff at Pebble Creek strives to make each experience here a memorable one! Pebble Creek is also fortunate to have the friendliness and the experience of Ben Apple. A 21 year employee of the Davenport Country Club, a club consistently ranking in the top five best courses in the state of Iowa. During his tenure at DCC, his experience continued to grow and Mr. Apple's responsibility continually increased. Mr. Apple's experience includes being promoted to the 2 nd Assistant Superintendent Spray Technician - Irrigation Tech for the DCC. "Ben is as resourceful as they come," said a former employer at DCC, "he's always been an asset to our club." Ben has been married for 10 years to Karen and they have two children Kyle and Jason. They reside in Eldridge , Iowa .
